ch-ART COM which means “Child Art Competition” is an Art competition for children. This is its maiden edition. It is a grass-roots educational, inspirational and also developmental based initiative which is aimed at laying some strong foundations for the development of Contemporary African Arts by empowering children to share their knowledge, experience and ideas on issues affecting them and their environments. Themes will be specially selected around pertinent global issues to increase self-awareness, and also boost the confidence in
children while encouraging them to air their views and opinions using visual forms (Drawings, Paintings, Collage, Textiles, Sculptures, Ceramics, AI, etc). The competition is open to children between the ages of 10 and 18 in public and private Secondary Schools, and winners will be going home with various prizes
